As a member of the Voyager-class family of ships, Mariner of the Seas has something for the entire family.  This 3-day itinerary sailing Port Canaveral to Nassau Bahamas with a final stop at the private island of CocoCay was brief but well suited.  It allowed us to feel the nostalgia of the #cruiselife for the weekend and still make it back to work on Monday.  

     Where shall I start?!  Firstly, I want to say that since I began visiting Las Vegas in 2012, I have always wanted to stay at the Venetian.   

     As many of you know, I have been nocturnal (a.k.a. working 3rd shift) for over 2 years now.  Depending on your background & experience, you may have even heard this shift time called "graveyard" or "overnight."  I like to refer to it as the "I love you too" shift.  

     Those of you who know us also know that we have a wild family life.  We call our family wild for several reasons...

     Since I was in middle school (circa 2000), I remember a band that stood out like no other to me- Rascal Flatts.  Their light & easy vocals mixed with a little electric & acoustic guitar and drum background support came together to make the greatest harmonies I had ever heard.  As I grew up listening, the lyrics always seemed to come to me no matter which song played.  It was natural!

     If you know me at all you know I grew up in a house where Christmas cards were a BIG deal. So I held onto that tradition starting my own family. Living in an area where I know no one and have zero connections I was frantic about who/where/when we were going to get pictures made. Then I found Jessica Jones Photography ! She was so lovely to work with, it reminded me of being back home. More than that she exceeded our expectations with how wonderful our photos turned out. Jessica we are officially fans for life. #floridaliving

     Royal Caribbean International is triumphing over its competitors in operational excellence.  For experienced cruisers or first timers, the booking process is simple & the boarding process is efficient.  I would highly recommend completing all the pre-boarding documents including the newest option to upload a photo of yourself.  The completion of these necessary items might just expedite boarding & have you sun bathing on the top deck sooner than you think.
