Review: Personally, I’m Team Jacob! You guessed it…since I’m a dog, I relate to the werewolves. Makes sense, right?! Although I can’t read and, therefore, have never read the book Twilight, I have respect for the love story here. Bella and Edward are like two eggs in a hanky or two peas in a pod, if you will. There’s chemistry and a tension that seems to shine through well on screen.
Chandler's Score:
7/10
Review: Disclaimer: my review here is only for Twilight the movie. I am not reviewing the book or any other film in the franchise. With that said, this is that “guilty pleasure” film for me. I can’t put my finger on what keeps me coming back to this film multiple times each year and I’m hoping I’m not the only one. The narration by Kristen Stewart is captivating and different. Perhaps it reminds me of my own time in school with a vampire twist. Visiting Forks, Washington is certainly on my list of “must dos.”
Hannah's Score:
8/10
Review: Well the middle schooler in me is swooning, the high schooler is cringing, and the young adult just can’t seem to look away. Chandler said it best with guilty pleasure. Why oh why do we keep coming back, I doubt it is the green filter on the movie, the great acting, or the vampires that sparkle. But maybe just maybe it’s all of that rolled into one that seems to make this one of our favorite go to movies.
